The first stage in the design process begins with the initial garden consultation. During this meeting we will be finding out how you would like the space to work for you. Who uses the garden, is it an area for socialising with friends or a place for quiet contemplation, are you a keen bird watcher, do you have children with hobbies or furry companions? We will establish your likes and dislikes, along with any possible themes and styles you are drawn to. Any images or photographs of gardens that have inspired you are always useful to share to enable us to understand the desired look you are aiming to achieve. We will look at the aspect of the garden, discuss any problematic areas within the garden that need careful consideration along with little nooks that could be enhanced. This fact finding exercise is essentially where the seed is sown and the journey to creating a truly unique garden tailored to you begins.
The outcome of this consultation will be the creation of the design brief: a written summary of the meeting and key requirements that must be met in the creation of your garden design.
